What is Wedding Skulls?
Wedding Skulls is a blog I started in December of 2008 as a resource for couples planning dark alternative weddings – gothic, steampunk, horror, halloween, heavy metal, emo, whatever. It’s a place where I can wax lyrically about how much fun it is planning an alternative wedding and give a shout-out to the amazing crafters and small businesses that make our subcultures thrive.
Wedding Skulls is also my blog for promoting my ebooks. Currently, Halloween Wedding Planner and [intlink id="392" type="page"]Gothic Wedding Planner[/intlink] are available through the blog, booklocker.com and my personal website – Steff Metal. Soon, my pretties, very soon, the Wedding Planner ebooks will be joined by more and varied ebooks.
Why do you charge for your wedding planner? Isn’t it just the same content I get on the blog for free
I charge for the wedding planner because I am a writer, and the planner is a book I wrote, and when I write things, I get paid for them. I have to eat and maintain my kreigly grymm metal status too, you know 
No, the Halloween Wedding Planner does NOT contain information rehashed from Wedding Skulls blog. It’s a how-to guide for planning a Halloween Wedding, whereas the blog features profiles of businesses, real-life weddings, and my general mutterings. The two work in tandom, but serve different purposes.

Is Wedding Skulls your full-time job?
I wish! No, I have many and varied jobs. Mostly I work as an accessible formats producer, transcribing braille books and resources for blind New Zealanders. I also do large print and electronic text.
Apart from that, I work as a copywriter and freelance writer. I write anything from magazine articles to website content and marketing copy.
